Students can choose from accelerated programs that include a combination of work and clinical experience, and theory that is learned through classroom lessons and labs, to nursing programs that bridge the rankings of nurses together, allowing the nurse to study distance education and work while attending nursing school. With the many options that are available, students have many choices when it comes to their education.
Students that are trying to gain entry into the nursing program should consider their previous education if they are mature students to consider whether upgrading is required. Alternatively, students that are in secondary school should ensure that they are taking the recommended classes to prepare for nursing school.
